Picture time
I find it hard to believe that I haven't shared my finished Babette throw with you yet. I'm so proud of it it's been shared on every other social medium I use and yet I've deprived you of it. How sad. Well here goes..... Tada! I love it so much. It makes me smile every time I walk into my room and see it on my bed. Since then I have made another. A friend of mine loved this one so much he commissioned me to make one for him too. I will share that picture next week because he hasn't seen it yet.

Winter woolies
It's about that time of year when I'm into all things wool. Knitting, crochet and cosy clothes.
I finally finished my 10 stitch shawl. It is quite lovely.
I'm in the process of piecing my Babette throw, it's a big ask.
I finished these socks last week and am now working on a lovely pale pink pair.
How is your winter going so far?

My Monday
Today consisted of watering my 'garden', cooking and knitting. I have some beans growing at present and some lettuce and carrot seeds that have just started to make an appearance. I made 24 sausage rolls today. It was a combination of puff pastry, beef mince, sausage mince, carrot, onion and some select herbs and spices. I think I did quite well in my little toaster oven. And I only over cooked one tray. They made for a very tasty lunch and the rest will go to the freezer for an easy reheat lunch. My other project today and was to continue my dishcloths. The pattern is fairly simple but looks nice and sturdy and the cotton is a blend of cotton and nylon. It's nice and thick. Perfect for the kitchen.
So that was my Monday. How was yours?

I like purple and craft
I've been working on some dishcloths for an order and today was inspired to try a string shopping bag from some forum discussion. Here's what I cam up with.

More creative stuff
Before Christmas I managed to get this dress finished. I love it. It swirls and makes me feel all girly.
Hopefully I will have more pictures to share in the next few weeks. I've been crazy busy with uni lately but soon I will be done and able to return to my sewing machine.

Mmmm cookies
Last week I finished this ten stitch scarf. I have tried a few of Frankie's ten stitch patterns and love the simplicity and repetition. I also have a triangle shawl on the needles to finish.
Saturday night boyfriend and I made ANZAC biscuits. Mmm mmm mmm mmm. We doubled a traditional recipe and ended up with enough for 60. Half are frozen as dough and the others are in my cookie jar.
I've been doing uni work this week and can't wait til I finish up so I can get back to my sewing machine.

Crafty creations
Starting off my new year with a resolve to share my story more so I thought I would show you all the crafty things I have finished in the last month.
I finished a baby cardigan yesterday that doesn't yet have an owner. I made some more Christmas cards and decorations and even squeezed in some Christmas stockings for my niece and nephew. All in all I've been quite busy and very happy with my progress.
